Topic: Pleasant experience
From: Lance Hobson

Just wanted to pass on a comment about the pleasant experience I have had with your new kits. I have been a "kit" homebrewer for more than 7 years and must say that the consistent quality and excellent results I have had with your kits is worth commenting on. I have recently made a batch of Golden Harvest Lager using your kit and added hops at fermentation stage for added aroma and a touch of bitterness and the end result has been sensational! Very drinkable after only 2 weeks in the bottle. Congratulations and I hope to experiment even further with your range.

Topic: The best
From: Stephen Thomas

The Golden Harvest Lager is the best beer I have made from a can kit.

Topic: Not of this world
From: Peter Stegman

I brewed and tasted your Golden Harvest Lager and declared it the best home brew I have tasted in 8 years of brewing. I purchased another couple the other day and cannot wait until it is ready.

Topic: One to brew again
From: Peter Jenkin

I brewed the Spicy Ghost Draught and tried it for the first time the other day. I was surprised and delighted with the result. The taste was excellent! With most home brews you can tell quite easily they're home brews, however the draught gave no hint of home brewing.

This is definitely one I'll brew again and recommend to other home brewers.

Topic: And the taste…
From: Martin

As promised, a report on first tasting of my Chocolate Mahogany Porter. What can I say but absolutely brilliant! Crystal clear, dark caramel colour, rich clean aroma, full creamy head ... And the taste ... Ahhhhhhhh! So full bodied and smooth with just the right amount of hops. And all that's after only two weeks in the bottle and despite some truly extraordinary weather conditions during fermentation. I'm addicted and will certainly be trying some other of your products. It's going to be a very pleasant Xmas. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Topic: Setting the home brew bench-mark
From: Mick Flanagan

Just completed a 60 ltr batch of "Spicy Ghost". The results were outstanding.
Cascade products certainly set the bench-mark in home brewing.
Thanks for the flavour.

Topic: A job well done
From: Dean Spouszta

Hi guys, just want to congratulate you on a job well done. I've been home brewing with my dad since I was in year three (I'm only 20), and to this day I don't believe I have found nicer tasting brew kits than which you have recently developed. The Golden Harvest is such a clean, crisp, refreshing beer, which I believe will be ideal come summer time. My father and I have recently put down your Imperial Voyage Pale Ale, and Spicy Ghost, which at the moment smell and taste terrific. Keep up the good work guys, and be sure to let me know of any new kits to come out.

Topic: Enduring the wait
From: Annie Steer

I have been brewing beer since 1998 and I am proud to say that I have never had a ’bad’ brew. I am always looking for new products to try so I was extremely excited when I saw your new Cascade range and couldn’t wait to brew each one, which I have now done, and I am happy to report that I am thrilled with the results. They truly have a beautiful flavour.

I especially like the Chocolate Mahogany Porter, which is very unusual in flavour.

I only have two problems:

1. Enduring the wait to taste my efforts

2. My friends never bring their own beer when they visit now... they would much rather drink mine! So keeping up the stocks is hard work.

Congratulations on an excellent product.

Thanks.

Topic: A very tasty one!!
From: Phil Wood

Just to let you know I cracked open a bottle of the Spicy Ghost over the weekend. It has only been in the bottles for 3 weeks yet tasted awesome. I have just bottled a Golden Harvest Lager, and have a Chocolate Mahogany Porter bubbling away as we speak, so this Xmas should be a very tasty one!!

Topic: Not of this world
From: Robert

Dear Cascade People. For the past three evenings I have finished my daily work and after a quick tub I have sat down in my favourite chair and switched on the TV. Beside me on the coffee table suddenly appears a genuine 1940’s king brown bottle together with a genuine English pint mug. I don't know how this happens but the contents of the bottle are certainly not of this world. On a more serious note people what a fantastic beer. I purchased another two kits this morning and I'm hoping the "Spicy Ghost" will once again fill my bottles with this delightful drop.

Topic: Staying with Cascade!
From: Paul Boekenstein

Having tried almost every brand of home brewing product over the past 10 years I'm going to stay with Cascade. I consider your Draught one of the best beers that I have ever tasted. Please keep it in production for at least the next 20 years!

Topic: The fruits of my labour
From: Mike Baldwin

Way back in 1964 as a sailor in the R.A.N. I was privileged to tour the Cascade Brewery when my ship was in Hobart. This was my introduction to Cascade Beer and it created a lasting impression - I have been a fan (and customer) ever since.

About three months ago as I was about to pick up a can of my regular Coopers Home Brew I noticed a range of four different Cascade Home Brew products on the shelf (about time you guys got into this market!). I purchased one of each but brewed your Chocolate Mahogany Porter first as I could not find an Australian Home Brew Porter on the market and I was rather partial to the James Squire product already available as a commercial beer.

As I said earlier, that was three months ago, I have just tasted the fruits of my labours and I certainly like what I taste - I look forward to your Pale Ale, Lager and Draught which follow this batch.

Many thanks Cascade, your home brew is certainly up to your commercial standard and at this point I can safely say that you have won a customer over your South Australian opposition.

Thanks again
